Business skills are essential, especially for those aspiring to open their own practice.
I am a lomi practitioner in the heart of Wailuku, Maui. I have been in practice for over 15+ years. I stopped accepting new clients for the last five years now, unless they were a referral. I still have clients from when I was in massage school til this day. I learned lomi from my father since I was 5. Lomi has been part of my lineage. My specialty is therapeutic lomi. In other words, people come to me because they are "broken." There is nothing more satisfying than a client getting up off of my table, blown away that their pain is gone. I love, love, love what I do! I've worked in advertising just before massage school and during massage school. I learned a lot of tips and tricks that I can't wait to share with you.
