Maui Ocean Center & Imua Family Services Celebrate Early Childhood Day
A Special Event Honoring “The Week of the Young Child”
Maalaea, HI – The Maui Ocean Center, in collaboration with Imua Family Services, is announces Early Childhood Day on Friday, April 11, 2025. This special event for young keiki is being held in celebration of The Week of the Young Child. From 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, visitors to Maui Ocean Center with children five (5) and under can enjoy complimentary admission. Preschools, early childhood programs, and other groups serving children five and under are encouraged to attend and are asked to RSVP with Imua Family Services.
Early Childhood Day is dedicated to celebrating early learning, young children, their teachers, families, and communities. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore Maui Ocean Center's immersive exhibits, including the Living Reef, Turtle Lagoon, and Open Ocean. While gaining a deeper understanding and respect for Hawai?i's marine life, visitors will be treated to special Early Childhood Day activities, such as live children’s music by Maui’s own beloved Uncle Wayne, a variety of family-friendly activities, and resource booths offering information and support for families with young children.
This partnership between Imua Family Services and the Maui Ocean Center reflects a shared dedication to nurturing Maui’s keiki and sharing the many wonders and lessons offered by our islands’ natural environment.
