This unique workshop seamlessly blends floor work, contemporary dance, and captivating aerial silk technique and foundations, all geared to help you discover your full expressive potential and master the vocabulary of aerial expression.

Our distinctive style emphasizes organic and angular movements, drawing inspiration from contemporary and modern dance, with a strong focus on artistry and musicality.

What to Expect

This intensive is designed to welcome all levels, from complete beginners taking their first aerial steps to experienced movers looking to challenge their boundaries and deepen their artistry.

Over three focused hours each day, you'll dive deep into:

Integrated Physical Preparation: Build a strong foundation with exercises both on the ground and in the air. We incorporate elements of contemporary dance and contact improvisation to enhance your strength, flexibility, and overall body awareness.

Seamless Ground-to-Air Integration: Learn to fluidly transition between floor work and the aerial silks, viewing the apparatus as a natural extension of your own body. This method encourages dynamic and expressive sequences that blend aerial and terrestrial spaces.

Mastering Aerial Vocabulary & Repertoire: You'll learn specific aerial expression phrases and exclusive repertoire, giving you the tools to articulate your movement and build your own unique sequences.

Artistic Expression & Collaboration: Beyond physical technique, we foster a supportive environment for collaboration, keen observation, and non-verbal expression. Through specific exercises, you'll engage in self-discovery and build trust within the group, empowering you to unleash your artistic potential through expressive movement in the air.

This training prepares students for stage performances and choreographic compositions, regardless of prior experience or age.
